There is no doubt that many Brits have welcomed the hot weather this summer. In fact, you have probably spent more time outside of the house than inside of it. Whether you are in London or Manchester, bifold doors could be a missing addition to your home.
Here are five reasons why you would benefit from bifold doors.
The sunshine is here to stay
There has been a short spell of rain that has helped everyone to cool down after the long stretch of hot weather – it has been welcomed by many people – but that was never going to last.
The Daily Express has reported that the sunshine is set to return in August. It is expected for temperatures to reach 30 degrees on certain days, with it being a clear sign that the rain is making way for the sunshine’s return.
Steven Keates, a senior meteorologist at the Met Office, commented: “Summer is not over by any means. The weekend was not pleasant for people on summer holidays, but it warms up again later in the week. The low 30s is not out of the question at the end of the week. And it could go higher, with forecast models showing the mid-30s after the weekend.”
Speaking of sunshine, there is no doubt that barbecues have been a constant theme for this summer – and it will no doubt continue going forward. If you are holding a barbecue for the family or for friends, you will want people to come and go from the house as they like.
With the extra space available, you could also set up a makeshift bar for people to make their own drinks.
Outdoor football
Not everybody likes going to a noisy pub or bar to watch the football. In fact, you might have been watching England’s successful World Cup campaign from inside your house when the weather was gorgeous outside.
Why not put the TV and furniture outside for a better viewing experience when the football is on? It would be the perfect time to have a cold beer while enjoying a match. What is even better is that the Premier League is set to return very soon, meaning that you can continue to appreciate both the hot weather and the football this summer.
Children’s parties
It would be surprising if you did not have to host a party for the children soon. Rather than everyone being cramped up indoors, turn it into a party that takes place both inside and outside of the house. You could even have the outside area holding fun activities, from setting up a pool to having a water slide.
Be ready for the occasional hot day
Once the summer is done, there will be a day – and it is when you least expect it – where the hot weather returns. You will most certainly bring out the shorts and barbecue as soon as it happens. Bifold doors are not only a summer addition to the house, especially when they can be taken full advantage of as soon as the weather picks back up.
