Spring Cleaning? Don’t Forget Your Windows

There is definitely a feeling of spring in the air, which provides the prompt many of us need to do a thorough clean of our homes.

While you’re hoovering, dusting and scrubbing the interior of your property, spare a thought for your windows.

Speaking to USA Today, Becky Rapinchuk, founder of lifestyle website Clean Mama, pointed out that it’s not only the glass in your windows that needs cleaning at this time of the year.

She insists that you should also clean the window sill, casing and track to help keep your windows in top condition. “Keeping those clean will keep mold and mildew from forming. It will just make it so much easier,” she asserted.

Don’t panic that this is another job you’ll need to add to your weekly cleaning list though, as Ms Rapinchuk adds that doing this in the spring and once before winter is enough to keep on top of things.
