An old vicarage in Warwickshire has been transformed after a huge renovation project that lasted 18 months.

The building, which is thought to be around 150 years old, was worth considerably less in 2016 before being given a large-scale facelift. It is now being marketed on estate agent Yopo for £1.95 million, which is more than £1 million higher than the average value of a house in the Calverdon village at £705,055, according to the Daily Mail.

The part-Georgian, part-Victorian house is believed to have been built in 1865, so it is no surprise it was in need of a substantial update.

Current owners, who bought the property in 2003 from the Church, underwent a project that saw a new roof being installed, and plumbing, electrics and heating being updated. Wall insulation was also fitted, and the entire garden was landscaped.

It has considerable grounds, which include a former stable, pig house and coach house. The estate agent has suggested these could be transformed into annexes, offices or other outdoor dwellings, which could boost the value of the property even more in the future.
